Man On a Mission

I’ve been invited to a conference that the Institute on Religion and Democracy is having in Washington today and tomorrow. The conference title is “God is Good. God is Green? A Conference on Evangelicals and the Environmental Task.” It’s at the Hotel Washington, a block from the White House, and I’m hoping I can find an Internet connection that will allow me to live-blog at least part of it. I don’t know who else is invited, though I’m assuming that at least some of my fellow pastors from northern Virginia will be there, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to get to know some of them. And given my interest in the subject, I’m very much looking forward to the presentations, which will come from several different perspectives.

While I’m there, I’m planning on picking up my cut of the Scaife scratch. Chris and Greg, and the rest of the team (you know who you are), I’ll be sending yours out by courier as soon as the exchange is made. Look for the embedded word in my next post (you know what it is) for further instructions.

Yeah, I’ll bet you will. I’m guessing you take that money to expand the RP media empire. Seriously, tell Scaife that my cut had better have a BOATLOAD of back interest or don’t bother. ;-)
