Now We See In a Mirror…

One of my friends in the Consistory (a Presbyterian blog circle I’m in; if you don’t know the others, check out the links on the sidebar) sent me this. Does it remind you of anyone you know?

What? Who? Me?

Never!

I once literally let a pot of rice turn to charcoal doing that…

By the way, you left the “U” out of humo*u*r…. ;-)

    Wow…I’m famous!

Seriously, the problem with the PCUSA is that instead of letting pots of rice burn, or not attending to the “marriage debt,” we let a hurting and lost world fling itself into Hell because we refuse to do the simple mission of the Church – preferring to quibble with each other about stuff that should have been settled long ago in our marching orders and standard manual.

Hmm…marriage debt…some Bride of Christ the PCUSA turned out to be.

I used to spend all sorts of time on the net. Now I spend very little. Occassionally I’ll get obsessed about something, usually an argument but for the most part…

Now back in 2001-3 I would literally be on the internet from around 1pm to 2am online roleplaying with people. I was taking Hebrew and Greek from 9 to 12:30. Oh and I would check the internet from 10 to 11 while at school waiting for Greek…

I would get my homework done by taking breaks from the internet… breaks from the internt…

I had over 23 characters in around 20 different storylines…

Oh and one time I dreamed one of my evil characters was standing over me as I slept and tried to kill me by strangling me. What happened was the covers someone got wrapped around my neck…

That was the beginning of me drawing back from the roleplaying and the internet but I still probably spend to much time on it. Although I’m more in line with 2 hrs online total anymore. There’s actually some tv programs on that I like which wasnt the case a few years ago so the internet was my entertainment.
