(Just as a side-note please no “they need to spend more money” jabs, this is being done. The sins of the previous 14 years should not be laid on the new regime that has actually started acquiring talent and spending money over the last 3)…
Of course it isn’t. In fact, it makes perfect sense, since the Kingdom will have to come in its fullness before the Pirates have a legitimate shot again.

In the outfield of Yankee Stadium, there are three bronze plaques honoring three former Cardinals. Roger Marisa is one. Who are the others?

I know Miller Huggins is one of the other two (he was player-manager for the Cards in the teens), but I can’t for the life of me figure out the third.

Actually, the other two former “Cardinals” are Paul VI and John Paul II.
