That ranks right up there with,,,”I feel my leg tingling when I think of Obama”..by Chris Matthews. I did a cartoon of Olbermann and Matthews on my blog..I should have included Whitaker. It’s scary… the adoration worship Obama is receiving.
Jodie: You’re kidding, right? “The end of the age” isn’t the same thing as “the New Age” (capitals or no capitals), and Jesus was referring to Himself, not a politician, some of whose followers are having a hard time distinguishing him from the real Messiah.
This “New age” thing is minor compared to the headline on an op-ed column in the Washington Post the other day. It was an article about how, the “promises” of Mr. Obama were now present in actuality in his person.
The headline: “The Word Became Flesh” (For those of you who haven’t read the King James Version of the Bible lately, that is the exact wording from John 1-The Word Became Flesh and dwelt among us.)
Now Mr. Obama may be the President of the US, but HE IS NOT THE WORD INCARNATE!!!
No, not kidding. The first Christians believed Jesus was returning shortly to usher in a New Age. But they also believed he would be with them till the end of the current one.
I believe it still.
We invented the term.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
As far as Obama is concerned, whose fault is it that the people do not look at the Church for answers? And who is to say that God has not chosen him to answer the peoples prayers? When they see him, they see themselves, their better selves, and the dreams they have for a better life.
