I’m in Brighton, Michigan for the next four days, attending the Evangelical Presbyterian Church’s 29th General Assembly. At the moment I’m in a workshop on mercy ministries, which is one of the core elements of Redeemer EPC, my church plant. I will be reporting on anything of consequence that happens here over the next few days. For, I’ll mention that I got here yesterday and attended the Detroit Tigers-Chicago Cubs game at Comerica Park. A good pitcher’s duel between Carlos Zambrano and Edwin Jackson (despite some wildness on both their parts) that ended with a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth giving the Tigers the win. As the old saying goes, the crowd went wild. Anyway, more from the EPC GA soon.
