I want to get back to the Israel posts soon, but first I’ve got to post this. If you’ve ever doubted that the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (with a membership including the Episcopal Church, PCUSA, UCC, and United Methodist General Board of Church and Society and Women’s Division) is nothing more than the Church of Moloch, with abortion as its only sacrament, read on:
Rev. Carlton Veazey, president and CEO of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, told a small crowd of pro-abortion protesters that women have a “God-given right” to abortion and that opposition from pro-life congressmen and religious leaders would never take it away.
Veazey, closing speaker at a “Stop Stupak” rally on Capitol Hill staged by major pro-abortion groups such as Planned Parenthood, NARAL-Pro Choice, and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) told the crowd that not only did they have a constitutional right to abortion, but that they had a God-given one as well.
“Don’t let anybody tell you that religious people don’t support choice,” Veazey said at the gathering in the Dirksen Senate Office Building. “You not only have a constitutional right for abortion, but you have a God-given right.”
So there you have it. The divinity worshiped by Carlton Veazy and his friends and enablers has bestowed upon women the right to kill their children, for any reason, any time, and declared through his/her mouthpiece that you, if you are an American taxpayer, are obligated to pay to subsidize that right. This goes way beyond stopping “back-alley abortions” (which were never anywhere as numerous as pro-abortion advocates claim), or protecting the lives of women. This is enshrining with transcendent significance and religious authority the act of killing the most defenseless among us for the sake of those with power. This is where those who worship at the throne of a false and evil god end up.
