For the second time in a week, the mainline church-supported U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation (USCEIO) has yanked a blog post that linked and gave publicity to anti-Semitic/kook web sites and activists.
I posted yesterday on the post “‘My Name Is Rachel Corrie’: Reaction evidence that global discourse is shifting?”, and noted that it linked to a 9/11 Truther site in Australia, and featured an article from Sonja Karkar, an Aussie Israel-hater who likes to pal around with anti-Semites and Holocaust deniers. Today, guess what’s gone?
Mondoweiss (a web site connected to left-wing periodical The Nation preserves the post here), and Google cache has it here. The leaders of the USCEIO may think that they can hide anti-Semitic proclivities by whitewashing their blog, but the fact that they keep getting “information” from and linking to sites like 911oz.com and Veterans Today means they can’t hide who they really are, or what their agenda really is.
